A turn of the century hand roped manual dumbwaiter at the US Supreme Court Library was within the existing historic building structure. This required the new unit fit within the existing shaft way. The floor to floor heights were only 8’ high. Matot was able to fit the new modern technology, a fully-automated modern stainless steel fully automated unit with power doors, into the old footprint.
